Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a skilled Building Systems Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain a wide range of mechanical and building systems across facilities in South Carolina. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to repairs, and support safety and reliability of critical infrastructure.

The role requires at least 6 years of building systems experience, a valid South Carolina driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends or varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience maintaining commercial/industrial building systems.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid SC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains various types of building and mechanical systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electrical, automation, medical gas and fire protection systems, energy management and work order management.
• Under limited supervision, ensure safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems and complete repairs/alterations.
• Participates in skilled maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, electrical, buildings and structures; maintains boilers, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, air handling equipment, VFDs and RTUs.
• Maintains building components such as ceilings, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, elevators, stairs, and interiors/exteriors.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance Measures and maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Logs equipment performance readings and reviews work orders daily to prioritize tasks.
