Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a senior professional to join our Building Envelope division in the United States. You will lead management and growth of services related to FISP, oversee rope access inspectors, and advise on exterior wall performance and durability.

This role requires 7–8+ years in building enclosure/restoration, SPRAT certification, and credentials as a Registered Architect or PE; you’ll collaborate across disciplines, prepare thorough reports, and mentor staff while delivering projects on

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of building envelope/restoration project experience.
• SPRAT certification required.
• Experience with industrial rope access.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Knowledge of local codes and Energy Codes.
• Registered Architect or Professional Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist with management and growth of FISP-related services.
• Manage IRA inspectors and FISP projects; perform rope inspections.
• Consult on facade design for maintenance projects; prepare bid documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams on budgets and project requirements.
• Communicate with clients and management to meet timelines.
• Oversee Restoration Division staff reports and progress of projects.
• Mentor staff and manage manpower and initiatives.
• Present white papers/case studies to technical teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
