Job summary

Lead Operating Engineer position at JLL for a community in Indian Land, SC. Role focuses on operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, with supervision of a small engineering team.

Schedule: 7am–4pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, work-order management, and safety compliance. On-site presence required at the Charlotte/Fort Mill locations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school, union training or college is desirable.
• EPA universal CFC certification or plan to obtain within first year with company help.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Assist Chief Engineer in directing the team and supervising tasks.
• Maintain work order system and service requests daily.
