Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Building Engineer to perform skilled maintenance and oversee engineering activities at a Salt Lake City facility. The role involves leading a team, ensuring quality, and managing maintenance tasks across electrical and mechanical systems.

Ideal candidates have extensive hands-on experience in institutional maintenance, licenses, and the ability to train others. This is a full-time on-site position with a robust benefits package offered by ESFM.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.
• Must have one of the following: Master license in one trade or two Journeyman Licenses with EPA certification or a Journeyman Plumber License; Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled maintenance duties related to facility engineering and maintenance functions.
• Supervises and leads a group of workers on a project.
• Maintains logs, tests and inspections, and completes work orders.
