Control Solutions Group, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a highly skilled Technician Level IV for Building Management Systems (BMS).

The role leads installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex BAS/DDC/EPMS in fast-paced construction environments, guiding subcontractors to meet timelines and standards. Experience with BMS/BAS and energy management systems is preferred; strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years field experience in HVAC controls including DDC systems commissioning.
• Experience with WebCTRL software tools and field debugging preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site automation installation projects for Wasatch Front and statewide Utah.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to analyze scope changes and manage deadlines.
• Provide on-site direction to subcontractors and track progress to milestones.
• Coordinate with trades and General Contractor for device placement and system functionality.
• Lead point‑to‑point check-out, commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance in the field.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and mentor junior technicians.
