Job summary

Control Solutions Group, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah, seeks a Building Management Systems (BMS) Technician IV with strong field HVAC controls experience to lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex BAS/BMS systems.

You will mentor subcontractors, optimize system performance, and ensure projects meet timelines and industry standards across Wasatch Front and statewide.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of field HVAC controls experience including DDC commissioning and calibration.
• Experience with pneumatic controls and system calibration.
• Familiarity with Automated Logic WebCTRL software tools and field circuit debugging.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, WebCTRL and various operating systems.
• Proven track record of completing jobs on schedule and delivering customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Direct complex automation installation projects on-site across Utah.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to analyze scope changes and deadlines.
• Provide on-site subcontractor management and technical oversight.
• Perform point-to-point check-out, commissioning, diagnostics on BAS/BMS systems.
• Maintain thorough commissioning reports and field documentation.
