Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Lead Controls Engineer to design and implement advanced building automation systems for custom client projects. You will lead teams, develop control software, and ensure robust configuration and integration of systems across sites.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC controls expertise, building automation proficiency, and experience translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of industry experience OR Associate Degree with 6+ years of industry experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of industry experience.
HVAC controls and building automation experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of building automation software, hardware, and protocols.

Responsibilities

Design and program advanced building automation systems with site-specific configuration and control algorithms.
Adhere to project requirements and design/ programming standards.
Create a clear design document for project teams with technical information.
Document and communicate building automation system design and revisions.
Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems.
Test programming and interfaces prior to implementation.
Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customer needs are met.
Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks.
Support functional testing for complex building systems.
