Baker Group is seeking an experienced automation professional to provide startup, commissioning, and programming for building automation systems. You will work with design engineers and operation staff to deliver robust automation solutions on challenging projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, DDC controllers, sensors, and networking, plus the ability to read SOOs and implement control logic. You will mentor Junior techs while leading medium to large projects.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of automation related field experience.
• Associate degree in Electronic, Technology, or Automation related field or equivalent on the job experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and internal staff.
• Start-up of PLC and DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, transducers and related components.
• Interpret Sequence of Operations (SOO) and apply to program logic.
• Read and write ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming.
• Mentor and oversee Automation Technicians I & II.
• Lead medium to large projects; coordinate teams and schedules.
• Perform point-to-point checkout and setup/calibration of sensors and devices.
• Configure networks, IP addresses, and communications between devices.
• Create and troubleshoot automation systems, graphics, and dashboards.

Formation

Associate degree in Electronic, Technology, or Automation related field or equivalent on the job experience
