Job summary

Edison Smart® near Toledo, OH is seeking a Lead Building Automation Design Engineer to lead BAS designs for data centers and mission critical projects. The role requires Niagara N4 expertise, strong HVAC controls knowledge, and the ability to guide engineers, designers, and technicians from concept through implementation.

Responsibilities include developing system architectures, wiring diagrams, control sequences, and reviewing design coordination drawings with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Building Automation Systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of HVAC control sequences and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, architectural, and control drawings.
• Experience reviewing submittals and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of BAS for commercial/institutional facilities.
• Develop BAS architectures, network layouts, controllers, and schematics.
• Design HVAC control strategies for AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and customers to ensure project success.
