Job summary

Daikin Applied in Las Vegas seeks a Building Controls Application Engineer to design, program, and commission BAS projects with Niagara 4, graphics, and OT networking. The role includes overseeing installation teams, performing startup and commissioning, and delivering secure, reliable BAS solutions for customers.

You will mentor BAS engineers, contribute R&D for Daikin BAS standards, and provide technical sales support across the division.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in programming building automation control applications.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and BAS operation.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and related protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support, develop, and implement Niagara-based systems and graphics.
• Design BAS systems with diagrams, BOMs, and sequences of operation.
• Oversee subcontractors, perform startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain documentation for control programs and drawings.
• Provide training on Niagara 4, OT networks, and BAS implementations.
