Collins Aerospace seeks a decisive engineering leader to head a Board Support Package software team. You will mentor engineers, drive cost, schedule, and technical performance, and collaborate with software, hardware, and program management for military products.

You will guide development from pursuit through sustainment, ensure compliance, and balance staffing to meet multiple programs while leveraging EV and best practices.

Formación

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Active and transferable SECRET clearance required before start.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams in technical development env.
• Experience in program execution, planning, EVM and risk management.
• 5+ years embedded software development experience.
• Experience with embedded OS: Linux, Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, LynxOS.

• Lead and develop a high-performing BSP software engineering team.
• Coach and mentor engineers; support career growth within Collins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver BSP software.
• Drive product strategy and engineering excellence across lifecycle.
• Support pursuit efforts with technical input to win business.
• Balance staffing across programs; monitor with earned value data.
• Ensure compliance with Collins standards and drive process improvement.
• Travel up to 10% annually.
