Job summary

Creighton Manning is seeking an Engineer 2 to advance transportation infrastructure projects in New York. You will develop and review plans, assess feasibility, and act as a staff advisor on technical matters for bridge and culvert rehab or replacement projects.

The role emphasizes organization, multitasking, and effective communication with clients, with projects often requiring after-hours work to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience progressing transportation infrastructure design projects in NY State.
• Strong organizational and deadline management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or check calculations and direct design procedures per AASHTO and NYSDOT standards.
• Prepare design reports, specs, plans, studies, permits, and designs for bridge projects.
• Develop plan details for bridge replacement/rehabilitation per NYSDOT standards.
• Collaborate with client and team to develop effective solutions.
• Perform structural analysis and stability review for proposed constructions.
