Creighton Manning, a GAI Consultants Company, seeks an experienced Structural Engineer 2 for bridge and transportation projects in Albany, Poughkeepsie, or Syracuse, NY.

The engineer will function as a fully competent professional, developing plans, reviewing calculations, and coordinating with clients and the team. 5–10 years of experience and NY PE licensure (or reciprocal) are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET/EAC accredited program.
• 5–10 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
• Professional Engineer licensure in NY or ability to obtain reciprocal licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare or check calculations and direct design procedures to meet standards.
• Prepare design reports, specifications, plans, studies, permits, and designs for bridge projects.
• Develop bridge replacement/rehabilitation plans per NYSDOT standards.
• Coordinate with client and team to develop efficient solutions.
• Perform structural analyses for proposed construction loading and temp conditions.
• Develop demolition/erection sequence plans and stability analyses.
