Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Structures Estimator in Mesa, AZ to lead the structures portion of bids on high-profile projects, with a focus on bridge structures and alternative delivery methods. The role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction estimation for heavy structures, a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and a track record of building strong client and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation for heavy structures and bridges.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB, CMAR, CMGC, hard bid, Progressive Design Build).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structures estimation process for a diverse portfolio of complex construction projects.
• Utilize Design Build (D/B), CMAR, CMGC, hard bid and Progressive Design Build to deliver accurate estimates.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for materials, labor, equipment, and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to navigate design and construction challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators, contributing to their professional growth and development.
