Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Estimator with bridge structures expertise to lead the estimation for our heavy civil projects in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will drive accuracy across materials, labor, equipment, and schedules and collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to navigate complex design and delivery challenges.

You will mentor junior estimators, establish client and subcontractor relationships, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation, focused on heavy structures and bridges.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB, CMAR, CMGC, CM/GC).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structures estimation process for a diverse portfolio of complex construction projects.
• Utilize DB, CMAR, CMGC, hard bid, and Progressive Design Build methodologies to deliver accurate estimates.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for materials, labor, equipment, and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to navigate design and construction challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators, contributing to their professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structures estimation process for a diverse portfolio of complex construction projects.
• Utilize your expertise in Design Build (D/B), Construction Management at Risk (CMAR), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC), hard bid, and Progressive Design Build methodologies to deliver accurate and competitive estimates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for materials, labor, equipment, and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to navigate design and construction challenges.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation, with a focus on heavy structures and bridge projects.
• Proven experience with alternative delivery methods.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
