Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Structures Estimator in the Southwest region, focusing on bridge structures and complex bid work. The role leads the structures portion of bids and requires strong knowledge of DB, CMAR, CMGC, and hard bid methodologies.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in construction estimation, a relevant bachelor's degree, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and subcontractors. A competitive salary is offered for this senior position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation, with a focus on heavy structures and bridge projects.
• Proven experience with alternative delivery methods.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structures estimation process for a diverse portfolio of complex construction projects.
• Utilize Design Build (D/B), CMAR, CMGC, hard bid, and Progressive Design Build methodologies to deliver accurate estimates.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for materials, labor, equipment, and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to navigate design and construction challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators, contributing to their professional growth.
