Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Estimator to produce accurate, competitive cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and bridge work. Lead bid preparation, manage cost databases, perform value engineering and risk assessments, and work closely with project teams to support winning proposals and profitable project delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading skills, experience with estimating software such as On-Screen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years estimating experience; civil/bridge or heavy/highway preferred.
• Proficient with OST, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with Sage Estimating, ProEst, RSMeans and HCSS.
• Strong takeoff, cost modeling, labor costing and materials takeoffs.
• Knowledge of contract review, procurement, change orders and VE.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera P6 for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and prepare complete cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor scopes across civil, structural and MEP disciplines.
• Develop and issue bid packages and proposals, including BOMs, scope narratives and pricing assumptions.
• Use estimation software and BIM tools to derive quantities and validate designs.
• Prepare estimates using industry cost tools and databases and update cost models.
• Collaborate with project teams to review drawings, specs, contracts and identify risks.
