Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. in Springdale, AR seeks an experienced Bridge Foreman to lead bridge construction crews on heavy civil transportation projects.

You will supervise daily field operations, coordinate manpower and equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on schedule. You will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors to deliver bridge and structure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of bridge construction experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with concrete structures, formwork, pile driving, and structural steel is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise bridge crews in daily construction activities.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work to maximize productivity.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet schedules.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain safety culture.
• Monitor workmanship to meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate progress with superintendents, project managers, engineers, and inspectors.
• Assist with planning concrete pours, steel activities, and other critical operations.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
