Job summary

EMERY SAPP & SONS is seeking an experienced Bridge Foreman to lead field crews on heavy civil transportation projects. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate manpower and equipment, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

You will read plans, manage schedules, allocate subcontractors, and mentor crew members while maintaining thorough daily reports. The role requires strong leadership, practical bridge construction knowledge, and the ability to drive projects to on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of bridge construction experience with supervisory duties.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and grade information.
• OSHA safety knowledge and DOT project experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with formwork, piles, reinforcing steel, and concrete placement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise bridge crews in daily construction activities.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work to maximize productivity.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA, DOT, and client requirements.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Communicate project progress with Superintendents and engineers.
