Job summary

HNTB in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead and deliver design calculations, technical reports, and plans for complex infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with the project manager, mentor junior staff, and apply advanced engineering methods to address design challenges across disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with many years of relevant experience, or a Master’s/PhD with appropriate years.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning, work distribution, schedule and budget on complex projects.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develops scope of work and manages adherence to scope and budget.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinates technical aspects with client counterpart and teaming partners.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Assists with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work for other disciplines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
