Job summary

Concrete General, Inc. in Gaithersburg, MD, seeks a Foreman to lead a multi-craft crew on bridge projects, including substructure, superstructure, formwork, and cast-in-place concrete.

You will read plans, coordinate activities with engineering staff, and ensure work meets tight tolerances and specs. The role requires at least 5 years of bridge or structural concrete experience with 2 years in a lead position, a valid driver's license, OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred), and a proven ability to mentor

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in bridge or structural concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Ability to read and interpret structural plans and shop drawings.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Experience on MDOT SHA or VDOT projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily bridge crew activities.
• Supervise formwork construction and concrete placement.
• Coordinate crane picks, rigging, and material placement.
• Ensure compliance with project specs and tolerances.
• Complete daily reports and quality control documentation.
• Mentor crew on construction methods.
