Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks Sales & Service seeks a Service Technician to perform planned and emergency welding on Watertube, Firetube, and auxiliary equipment. Based out of the Fenton, MO office with field visits to job sites, this role requires leading welding projects and learning boiler mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.

Overnight travel may be required. Applicants should be able to pass an ASME 6G test and have strong mechanical, pipefitting skills, and the patience for extended travel and

Qualifications

• ASME 6G test required
• Strong welding and boiler/mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead core welding projects per ASME code and standard welds
• Learn complex boiler mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, plus controls tuning
• Perform other duties as assigned
