Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors seeks a senior Boiler & Turbine Systems Specialist to lead design and sizing of boiler, HRSG, turbine, and steam‑system projects for pulp & paper and industrial utilities. You will model thermal cycles, specify equipment, and guide from FEED to start‑up.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years in industrial boiler/HRSG/turbine work, strong code knowledge, and a track record of robust, efficient steam solutions across complex facilities.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in industrial boiler/HRSG/turbine project engineering for mill utilities, power islands, or CHP.
• ASME BPVC, API 611/616, API 616, TEMA, NFPA 85 experience preferred.
• P.E. is preferred but not required; strong modeling and calculations expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead boiler, HRSG, turbine projects from FEL/FEED through start-up.
• Perform heat and mass balances, steam/water sizing, and cycle analyses.
• Create and review PFDs/P&IDs, equipment datasheets, control narratives, and commissioning plans.
