Job summary

Quest Global is seeking Control System Engineers with strong experience in Steam Turbine, HRSG/Boiler, and BOP control systems for power generation. The role covers control logic design, sequencing, interlocks, protection logic, testing, validation, and commissioning support.

Candidates should demonstrate hands-on turbine/plant control experience and be capable of cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in control logic development and sequencing for turbine/plant controls.
• Strong knowledge of DCS/PLC/plant control systems.
• Experience with PID loops, interlocks, permissives, alarms, and trip logic.
• Familiarity with steam turbine operation and HRSG/boiler/process controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify control logic and sequencing for Steam Turbine, HRSG, and BOP control systems.
• Develop interlocks, permissives, alarms, trips, and protection logic.
• Work on control loops, functional logic testing, and system validation.
• Review control philosophy, P&IDs, signal lists, and cause-and-effect diagrams.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies before software implementation.
• Support software testing, FAT, SAT, SWAT, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for requirements clarification and execution.
• Lead or support software upgrades and technical improvements in plant controls.
