Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Body Electronics System Test Engineer to join the Body Controls Calibration and System Test team. You will lead calibration and system tests for body controls across features such as vehicle access, lighting, and cabin comfort, working with software-defined architectures.

The role requires Python, test automation, and HIL/vehicle testing experience, plus developing validation plans, executing tests, and analyzing results within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/software engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in validation or test.
• Experience with Python scripting and test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead calibration and system test for body controls across features (Vehicle Access, Lighting, Cabin Comfort).
• Create and manage validation plans for body electronics software features.
• Develop and release calibrations for GM vehicle programs and lead test automation efforts.
