Job summary

Children Making Strides is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Maryland team. The role focuses on delivering ABA services for children with developmental challenges, with after-school hours starting at 3:00 PM.

The BCBA will assess, plan, supervise, and collaborate with families and professionals to drive progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold BCBA certification and Maryland LBA license.
• Strong ABA knowledge and experience with autism spectrum disorder.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and create treatment plans for clients.
• Supervise implementation of ABA therapy programs.
• Train and guide Behavior Technicians and RBTs.
• Monitor data and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress.

About Children Making Strides:

Children Making Strides is a reputable ABA agency that provides comprehensive therapeutic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to help children reach their full potential by implementing evidence-based interventions and individualized treatment plans.

We are currently looking for a BCBA to service after school hours starting at 3:00 PM or later.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and supervise the implementation of ABA therapy programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, and other professionals, to ensure consistency and progress in therapy.
• Provide training and guidance to Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in implementing therapy techniques.
• Monitor and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Possess a Maryland Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential.
• Excellent knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
