Job summary

African American Male Wellness Agency is seeking a Mental Wellness Program Manager to lead the Columbus RMRT calendar, supervise staff, and build clinical and community partnerships that connect Black men with culturally responsive care.

The role includes budget and grant deliverables management, multi-market support, and collaboration with the Director of Mental Wellness to advance planning, training, and evaluation across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in social work, psychology, public health, counseling, human services, or related field.
• Master's degree or clinical licensure preferred.
• 4-6 years in community mental health or nonprofit program management with supervising staff.
• Experience with program budgeting and grant reporting is important.
• Ability to build trust with Black men who may be reluctant to discuss mental health.

Responsibilities

• Own the Columbus RMRT calendar and annual work plan, ensuring monthly sessions meet attendance and quality targets.
• Supervise the Mental Wellness Program Coordinator and coach staff and facilitators.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate facilitators and Engagement Coaches.
• Support RMRT planning in other cities by sharing materials and advising on recruitment and partnerships.
• Establish and maintain referrals with therapists and behavioral health organizations.
• Maintain crisis protocols and monitor risk management and incident reviews.
• Manage the program budget and coordinate grant deliverables and reports.
• Lead planning for the Real Men Real Talk Mental Wellness Summit.
• Track attendance, screenings, referrals, and outcomes to inform program adjustments.
• Represent the Agency with funders, health systems, and community partners.
