Lilly in Indianapolis seeks a Principal Scientist for the Bioanalytical Outsourcing team who will lead CRO qualification and onboarding, and provide scientific oversight of bioanalytical methods across small molecules, oligonucleotides, peptides, biologics, and gene therapies.

You will partner with Discovery, Non-Clinical, Clinical, Procurement, Quality and Operations to set CRO standards, mentor peers, and influence data quality and regulatory compliance through external partnerships.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in a bioanalytical lab or Master's with 5+ years in a regulated bioanalytical setting.
• Experience in method development, validation, and sample analysis.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Aufgaben

• Lead the qualification and onboarding of new CRO partners for ADME and bioanalytical (bioA) assays.
• Provide independent scientific oversight and strategic guidance to CRO partners for method development and analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Discovery, Non-Clinical, and Clinical teams to align CRO capabilities with program needs.
• Partner with Procurement, Quality, and Operations to establish and improve CRO qualification standards and processes.
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with internal customers and external vendors for bioanalytical support.
• Mentor scientists and share technical expertise across the bioanalytical outsourcing network.
