Job summary

The Bernard Group in Duncan, SC is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead our bindery and print team. You will supervise the operation of bindery equipment, mentor leads and operators, and ensure efficient production flow from setup to finished product.

You will oversee cost management, training, safety, and performance reviews, while driving continuous improvement and exceptional customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment; printing industry experience as a Production/Assembly Lead a plus.
• OSHA 10 Hour certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of bindery/large format operators to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Plan and prioritize jobs with Production Leads to meet deadlines and optimize resources.
• Operate and oversee bindery equipment, calibrate and maintain for consistent output.
• Monitor quality and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards of print finishing.
• Coordinate with prepress, printing and shipping to ensure smooth workflow and timely handoffs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
