Job summary

The Bernard Group in Duncan, SC is seeking an enthusiastic Bindery Operator Lead to mentor a shift and ensure quality before shipment. This working lead performs machine setup and collaborates with the CSR and managers to meet customer specs.

Required: high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years in printing (bindery/cutter/folder/booklet maker); OSHA 10 is a plus; strong organization. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years' experience in printing as Bindery Operator, Cutter, Folder, or Booklet Maker.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach team in bindery operations and process flow.
• Perform quality checks before shipment and coordinate with CSR and managers.
• Maintain equipment set-up and troubleshoot production issues.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and safe, efficient workflow.
