Qualifications

• Must be able to calculate distances, clearances, and fits in combining machines.
• Skill in using the full range of standard and specialized tools and devices to adjust and maintain bindery machines.
• Knowledge of complex bindery machines and their folds, collating, and finishing operations.
• Understanding paper stock quality and finishing requirements.
• Skill in setting up and adjusting machines to prevent impressions on printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate various bindery machines with multiple functions and stations.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and ensure quality, output and productivity.
• Direct crew across production tasks and coordinate multiple work stations on a machine.
• Monitor finishing operations and maintain dimensional accuracy per specifications.
