Job summary

RRD, located in Wisconsin, is seeking a Bindery Operator for a 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM shift. Starting pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with match, and additional perks.

The role involves setting up and operating various bindery machines, ensuring quality and safety, and leading a production crew to complete printed materials such as books, catalogs, and magazines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret written work orders or other job specifications containing bindery requirements.
• Must be able to calculate distances, clearances, and fits in combining machines.
• Skill in using the full range of standard and specialized tools and devices to adjust and maintain the functional accuracy of bindery machines.
• Knowledge of various coated/uncoated paper stocks and their quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery machines to produce final books, catalogs, and magazines.
• Inspect equipment for safety and performance.
• Direct crew through all production steps and monitor quality and productivity.
