Job summary

RRD Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist to join our production and manufacturing team. The role is on first shift with hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and offers an hourly wage between $20.00 and $26.00, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will set up, adjust and operate bindery equipment, monitor quality and productivity, and help direct crew to ensure timely production. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of binding processes, be able to read work orders,

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of bindery setup, adjustment, and operation of binding, folding, cutting equipment.
Ability to read and interpret job specifications and material requirements.
Proficiency with hand and power tools used to adjust and maintain bindery machines.
Strong focus on safety and quality, with attention to dimensional accuracy.
Capable of coordinating multiple workstations and directing crew.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines.
Inspect equipment for safety issues.
Operate automatic adhesive binding machines handling collated sheets or signatures.
Make adjustments to coordinate multiple workstations on a single machine.
Direct crew through all aspects of production.
Monitor quality, output and productivity.
