Qualifications

• Knowledge of setup, adjustment, and operation of binding and finishing equipment.
• Understanding paper weights, sizes, colors and related machine adjustments.
• Ability to coordinate multiple machines and station functions.
• Proficiency with hand tools and machine adjustments for precise output.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and maintain dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery machines to produce finished books and catalogs.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and coordinate machine stations.
• Direct crew through all production steps, monitoring quality and output.
• Make necessary adjustments to balance multiple stations on a single machine.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of binding operations per specs.
