Job summary

EMPOWER LEARNING INC is seeking a caring, dependable Behavior Technician to join our ABA team. You will work 1:1 with children, implementing individualized ABA plans and helping each client reach goals in a supportive environment.

The role requires a positive, patient, coachable attitude, with ability to manage behaviors and stay calm under pressure. 18+ years old, commute to Eagan, MN, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and pursuing higher education.
• Commute or relocate to Eagan, MN 55121 before starting.
• Background check required.
• Availability to work 5 days per week.
• RBT certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children implementing ABA treatment plans.
• Run programs and goals every 7 minutes as outlined by supervisors.
• Collect accurate data during each session.
• Support with cleaning and sanitizing therapy spaces and materials.
• Follow supervisor direction and maintain professional communication.
• Keep sessions positive, structured, and engaging for each client.
• Assist with other tasks that support high-quality client care.

What We’re Looking For

• Must enjoy working with kids — daycare, school, or childcare experience preferred.
• Positive, patient, and coachable — able to take direction and apply feedback.
• Comfortable managing behaviors and staying calm in challenging moments.
• Willing to learn and understand ABA principles through training and supervision.
• Currently enrolled in or completed college (no high school‑only applicants).
• Reliable and consistent — this role requires working 5 days a week.
• RBT certification is a plus and earns a higher hourly wage.
