Job summary

The Arc of the Ozarks in Springfield, MO is seeking a Behavioral Technician Supervisor to bridge between Behavior Support Technicians and individuals served in our ISL homes. The role involves mentoring teams, implementing personal plans, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic living environment.

You will support training, medication administration, daily living skills, budgeting, and community participation, with paid trainings and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Six months experience providing direct care in human services.
• Experience with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Complete CPR/First Aid training.
• Medication administration training completed.
• MANDT system training and related certifications.
• OSHA/Health & Safety training.
• Abuse & Neglect training.
• Electronic documentation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the Behavior Support Technicians and ISL team.
• Assist in implementing personal plans and directives.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Administer medications per policy after certification.
• Support daily living activities: cooking, cleaning, hygiene.
