Job summary

The Arc of King County in Seattle is seeking a full-time SLP Behavior Support Coordinator to lead support coordination for participants with high or complex behavior needs. This role focuses on building relationships with individuals and community partners to help participants thrive and exercise choice in their lives.

The coordinator translates participant goals into opportunities, supports plan development, and works with the healthcare team and DSHS to ensure compliant, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and interruptions.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall support coordination and advocacy of participants on caseload.
• Review narratives and staff documentation for timeliness and completeness.
• Participate in Person-centered service plan (PCSP) meetings.
• Update IISP goals and documents every four months.
• Develop and revise IISP goals for participants.
• Assist in writing Positive Behavior Support plans and PBSPs.
• Provide direct support during behavioral crises and implement PBSPs.
