Job summary

Crystal Springs, Inc.'s Coordinator of Behavior Services – Adult Services oversees implementation of individualized behavior support plans across day habilitation, residential, and behavioral services. You will train staff, supervise Behavior Specialists and RBTs/BCaBAs, and ensure plan fidelity with CARF, MassHealth, and DDS standards.

The role emphasizes data-informed decision making, ongoing assessment of policies, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and crisis response.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and monitoring BSPs based on functional assessments.
• Experience conducting FBAs and functional analyses.
• Ability to collect and report behavioral data accurately.
• Experience training staff in ABA and trauma-informed care.
• Experience supervising Behavior Specialists, interns, and RBTs/BCaBAs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) based on functional assessments and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), functional analyses, and use observational/standardized assessment tools to inform interventions.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting of behavioral data, including ABC data and incident reports.
• Deliver training and coaching to direct care staff and team members on ABA, BSP implementation, crisis prevention, and data collection.
• Work with program staff to create a cohesive behavioral support system and ensure long-term intervention success.
• Maintain ongoing assessment of policies and procedures with emphasis on health and safety, and aid corrective actions.
• Attend ISPs and treatment reviews to present data and determine placement and case assignments.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding of Behavior Specialists and supervise staff including RBTs/BCaBAs.
• Provide on-call and in-person crisis support and participate in de-escalation and intervention when needed.
• Participate in intake evaluations and planning for new individuals in absence of the Director.
• Ensure documentation meets CARF, MassHealth, DDS standards.
• Model BACB ethics and Crystal Springs policies in a therapeutic environment.
• Serve as ambassador for Crystal Springs, Inc. and contribute to team success.
