The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Education, Psychology, or related field with at least 3 years in educational or behavioral support roles, plus strong leadership and a commitment to equity and data-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational or behavioral support settings.
• Strong knowledge of behavior management, PBIS, and SEL principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, students and families.
• Proven leadership and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Data collection/analysis experience related to student behavior.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in educational practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Behavior Intervention Team to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and admin to guide interventions.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed.
• Facilitate staff training on behavior management techniques and best practices.
• Meet with parents/guardians to discuss progress and home support strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions, progress, and meetings for compliance.
• Serve as a crisis intervention resource and support as needed.
• Foster a positive climate by promoting social-emotional learning and proactive support.
• Coordinate with external agencies to provide comprehensive student/family support.
• Stay current with research/trends to continuously improve practices.
