Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Systems/Mechanical/Electrical engineer to drive design release for battery cooling lines and structural components. You will work with PMTs and designers to balance requirements, run DFMEA, and ensure manufacturability for the RESS thermal system.

Report to the office on a hybrid schedule and contribute to validation, test planning, and collaboration with manufacturing and service teams to deliver robust, serviceable components for GM’s Rechargeable Energy Storage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in Battery Cooling Lines Design and Release or related roles.
• Experience with DFMEA, design release, and technical evaluation reports.

Responsibilities

• Participate in executing structural and coolant hose components.
• Support DFMEA and CTS template development.
• Collaborate to finalize designs for new architectures and ensure interface/packaging compatibility.
