You will model performance with simulations, develop CAD or prototype models, and present results to customers and partners while collaborating with program management, procurement and manufacturing to deliver reliable energy systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years system design for lithium-ion battery packs or related tech.
• Minimum 6 years engineering experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial sectors.
• Experience with battery systems for electrified propulsion or energy storage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed with leadership and collaboration abilities.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced team environment.
• Understanding of UL and regulatory certification processes.
• Proficient with CAD (CATIA or SolidWorks).
• Familiar with FEMAP and NASTRAN (or equivalent).
• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with practical focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design and development for Re:Build battery packs.
• Communicate across engineering teams to make program decisions.
• Identify core issues, develop solutions, and communicate impacts.
• Create CAD models and presentations for customers.
• Develop BOMs, assemblies, and installation procedures.
• Ensure compliance to standards and battery performance needs.
• Verify battery software and hardware meet system requirements.
