Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the design of advanced lithium‑ion battery systems. You will define architecture, create schematics, select hardware, and perform critical thermal and power analyses to ensure safe, high‑performance packs for automotive, aerospace, and industrial uses.

You will collaborate across mechanical, software and manufacturing teams through concept to validation, contributing to DFMEA and ISO 26262 efforts while communicating complex

Qualifications

• 3+ years of system-level design experience for lithium-ion battery or related electrical systems.
• 4+ years in automotive, aerospace, or industrial engineering environments.
• Strong proficiency in electrical system design and schematic capture.
• Experience with high/low voltage safety, EMC/EMI, and grounding.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system architecture for battery packs and power interfaces.
• Create electrical schematics including sensors, fuses, connectors and harnesses.
• Select and integrate HV/LV components for safety and performance.
• Perform thermal and power dissipation analyses under varying conditions.
• Support circuit design, validation, and bench testing.
• Ensure DFMEA, functional safety (ISO 26262), and compliance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and manufacturing teams.
• Develop and execute validation test plans and troubleshoot issues.
• Present findings and recommendations to customers and leaders.
