Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Manager Design Engineering – Battery Modeling to lead a high‑caliber simulation team focused on high‑power‑density lithium‑ion battery packs. You will guide design, development, validation, and delivery, shaping strategy and execution across programs.

The role requires deep modeling expertise, leadership of three to five engineers, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to translate results into design decisions. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of relevant modeling, simulation, product development, or validation experience.
• Two or more years of demonstrated technical team leadership.
• Experience with ANSYS simulation tools; experience with Altair HyperWorks, LS-DYNA, Abaqus, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent platforms is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Build, lead, coach, and develop a team of simulation engineers supporting multiple battery development programs.
• Serve as the technical leader for battery-pack modeling and simulation to support design decisions.
• Own and execute the battery modeling and simulation roadmap and validation strategy.
