Job summary

Wheaton College in Norton, MA is seeking a motivated Head Baseball Coach to lead our NCAA Division III program. Responsibilities include budgeting, compliance with NCAA, NEWMAC, and Wheaton rules, and supporting academic progress and student-athlete well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of collegiate coaching experience required or equivalent education/experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work evenings and weekends throughout the year
• Commitment to working and teaching within an environment that embraces student development

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct team practices to prepare the team for competition. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally for events.
• Develop and execute a recruiting plan for prospective student-athletes.
• Serve in an administrative capacity including game management and secondary duties.
• Oversee student-athlete academic progress and provide support for well-being.
• Create and implement engagement and fundraising plans with alumni
