Job summary

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a Lead Building Automation Engineer to join our team. You will oversee BAS projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and coordinate with technicians and subcontractors to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires familiarity with Metasys or Schneider controls, BAS programming, and knowledge of BACnet/Modbus; certification and advanced BAS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Metasys or Schneider controls and graphics for systems.
• Formal BAS training certifications are required.
• Advanced BAS knowledge, networks and protocols.
• Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communications.
• Experience with energy management and HVAC control systems.
• Ability to work in diverse environments and on ladders/scaffolds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor BAS operators; troubleshoot system problems.
• Diagnose and repair control system malfunctions.
• Manage work to meet timelines and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors on job sites.
• Modify programming for equipment sequences and alarms.
• Report issues to management promptly.
