CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ is seeking a passionate bartender to deliver exceptional service and beverage experiences. Join a resort renowned for wellness and hospitality, and help maintain bar standards, inventory, and training.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years bartending in elevated or resort environments, strong mixology knowledge, and excellent communication. This on-site role offers shift meals, wellness class access, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years bartending experience in elevated or resort environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, spirits, wellness beverages, and zero-proof cocktails.
• Experience leading or training teams preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and positive under pressure—Brilliantly Resilient.
• Strong communication skills—Open & Honest with team members and leaders.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must hold required Food Handler and Title 4 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Works hands-on as a bartender while modeling exceptional service and beverage standards.
• Maintains bar readiness, cleanliness, organization, stocking, and closing standards.
• Supports monthly beverage inventory counts, ordering, and stock management.
• Maintains bar equipment, tools, glassware, and overall bar operating standards.
• Executes and trains the team to deliver CIVANA mixology classes and beverage experiences.
• Coaches bartenders on recipes, technique, service standards, and responsible alcohol service.
• Supports beverage cost controls through accurate pours, waste tracking, and product rotation.
