Job summary

Workstream is seeking a Lead Bartender to support the team and management in delivering exceptional guest service and leading in the assigned bar area. The role emphasizes operational excellence, knowledge of cocktails, and leadership in daily shifts.

The Lead Bartender will maintain bar organization, handle POS procedures accurately, and ensure guest satisfaction while adapting to a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High-volume bartending experience required.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must meet physical demands: standing, walking, lifting heavy items for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Current Floor Managers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day to day bar operations as directed by management
• Deliver exceptional beverage service in accordance with company standards
• Follow proper cash handling procedures
• Respond to and resolve issues on shift by escalating to management
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the bar
• Maintain expert knowledge of menu, cocktail recipes, and promotions
• Communicate concerns to management and elevate as needed
• Certify staff are pouring/ringing drinks properly in POS
• Anticipate needs of guests and colleagues, assist as required
• Perform pre-opening or closing duties as assigned by manager
