Job summary

HCW Hospitality is seeking a Lead Bartender to guide our bar team and craft outstanding beverages in Chandler, AZ. You’ll create a welcoming atmosphere, mentor bartenders, and ensure service excellence while upholding beverage standards.

The ideal candidate has strong mixology experience, a deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer and wine, and proven hospitality leadership. You’ll stay on top of trends, manage inventory, and collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to deliver memorable

Qualifications

• Mixology experience required; certification preferred.
• Deep understanding of a cocktail lounge guest experience and service.
• Progressive hospitality leadership experience.
• Strong bartending knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer and wine.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, energetic bar atmosphere for guests.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty beverages with accuracy.
• Lead by example to ensure high-quality execution, cleanliness, and standards.
• Train bartenders and barbacks on HCW’s service expectations and procedures.
• Maintain inventory and communicate needs for par levels.
• Monitor profitability by reducing waste and controlling pours.
• Stay current on beverage trends and contribute new ideas.
• Build relationships with guests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol laws, safety policies, and sanitation.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage Manager to optimize guest flow.
• Take on additional duties to support hotel operations.
