Millennium Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Lead Bartender for M Social Sunnyvale in Sunnyvale, CA. You will lead the bar team, craft high‑quality cocktails, and ensure a vibrant guest experience in a fast‑paced, social environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of bartending experience, strong knowledge of cocktails, and prior leadership responsibilities. This role requires availability for evenings and weekends and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2–3 years of bartending experience, preferably in a full‑service restaurant, hotel, or lifestyle property
• Previous lead bartender or supervisory experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
• Experience with craft cocktails and premium spirits
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems
• Food Handler/Card certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification or ability to obtain as required by California law

Aufgaben

• Beverage Service: Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and brand standards; create handcrafted cocktails; monitor quality and presentation; process payments using the POS system; practice responsible alcohol service.
• Leadership & Team Support: Lead by example; coach and mentor bartenders and barbacks; assign tasks; communicate priorities; assist with training and onboarding.
• Guest Experience: Welcome guests, build rapport, anticipate needs, handle concerns, and create an energetic brand‑reflective atmosphere.
• Bar Operations: Oversee setup, stock, cleanliness, opening/closing duties, inventory, and supply needs.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Banquet, and Management; support events.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow health regulations, verify ID, handle transactions securely, maintain a safe bar environment.
