Job summary

Social Misfits GR is seeking a Lead Bartender for our Grand Rapids, MI location. You will lead bar operations, train staff, set up the bar, and ensure safe, compliant service of alcohol while delivering a warm guest experience.

The role requires strong bartending experience, leadership, and knowledge of mixology, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced cafe setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior bartending experience is required.
• Knowledge of basic drink mixology is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Leadership and model a positive work environment.
• Perform Opening and Closing duties as required.
• Train Staff on various tasks, including food and beverage preparation and handling.
• Oversee operation of all equipment in accordance with safety and manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Maintain inventory and equipment by cleaning and performing light maintenance.
• Know and apply federal, state, and local laws governing the service of alcoholic beverages.
